Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Mid-Life Crisis Ahead For Philip-Will Chloe’s Little Sister Joy Be His Trophy Wife?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) is old enough to be headed for a mid-life crisis.

In a recent episode of the soap, he gave a job to a rather inexperienced Joy Wesley (Alex-Ann Hopkins) but why-just because she’s Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) little sister?

There’s Something Going On There But What?

For some reason, Joy really didn’t have to do a lot of convincing Philip to give her a job at Titan-even though he did ask the standard questions about if she had any experience.

All she could do was refer to her Body and Soul role which garnered her a blank stare but then she told him she did some temp work.

All it took was telling Philip she did some temp work in a couple of offices and he gave her a job that he first asked if she had corporate experience?

There’s something going on there, but the question is what-Philip was practically obsessed with her sister Chloe at one time and they went away together the last time they left Salem. But when he returned to Salem he and Chloe hadn’t worked out again, and now he seems to be experiencing a little favoritism!

What Is Going On Behind The Scenes In Philip’s Mind?

What is going on behind the scenes in Philip’s mind, for Joy to change his mind so quickly-or might the change be spurred by his libido? Or possibly, he feels a subconscious connection to Joy through his years-long connection to Chloe, and started to feel a pull? Philip hasn’t been able to get anything going on with a woman since he’s returned to Salem, might he have experienced some real attraction to Joy? But there’s got to be two to tango, as well as there having to be two to tangle-might a little workplace romance start when Joy starts working for Titan?

Philip Can’t Help But Notice Joy Is As Beautiful As Chloe

Even though Joy is adopted, and adopted for the purpose of a transplant Chloe needed besides, Philip can’t help but notice Joy is as beautiful as her sister.

As he gets to know her better, it wouldn’t be surprising if something serious develops-and with something serious developing inside of her, a husband would be convenient! Philip may be older than Joy by quite a bit, but when Cupid’s arrow hits, age doesn’t matter that much.

One of the longest married couples in Salem had twenty years difference in their ages-that was Doug and Julie Williams (Bill and Susan Seaforth Hayes). So if Philip and Joy get together even if she winds up being a trophy wife, it’s nothing unusual in Salem!
