Billy Flynn Wants To Try Something New

Flynn admits that he wants to try something new and here is his chance to do just that. Flynn says, “I love acting, and I love stories, and I never imagined I would just tell one story for the rest of my life,.The fact that I’ve been here 10 years and it’s gone by in the blink of an eye is amazing to me.

I wasn’t a baby when I started here; I was 30. I didn’t start acting until I was 26. So it’s gone by really fast. I think with this character, I’ve done everything I can with it.

I’m looking forward to doing something new. I’m about to start a new journey and tell another story. It really is just that simple.”

Billy Flynn Does Double Duty For A While

Due to that way Days of Our Lives tapes, Billy will been seen on there for most, if not all of 2026. Days of Our Lives is the only soap that times about nine months ahead of schedule.

In the meantime, Billy will soon be making his debut on The Young and The Restless this spring. Flynn hopes that fans will accept a new Chad if there is one because he was once in those shoes.

Flynn said to Variety, “I hope [fans] continue to watch ‘Days’ and support ‘Days’ and support whoever might come in and play Chad, if there ever is that case. I hope they do that and give somebody the same love they gave me. And I hope that they come with me on this journey…”

Fans Will Certain Miss Billy Flynn

Fans will miss Billy as Chad. Some fans were hoping that Abigail Dimera (Marci Miller) might return once again and reunite that popular couple. “Chabby” had a huge following and fans would love to have them back so that Abigail can raise her children and reunite with her family.

The way Abby was killed really bothered fans a lot.

What will happen to Chad and Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) with Flynn leaving the show? Right now fans have a front row seat to their romance.
