Actor Billy Flynn, who plays Chad DiMera, recently announced he was leaving the land of Salem and heading to The Young and the Restless for a new role, so it’s easy to see why fans may be buzzing about other actors leaving the soap. After all, the news surrounding Flynn’s exit from Days of Our Lives was shocking, to say the least.

Jimenez recently hopped on the social media platform, X, with the following statement. In the post, the actress writes, “I guess there’s a rumor going around that I’m leaving Dool & so I just wanted to squash that right now by letting y’all know I’m not going anywhere.”

She goes on to say, “I love playing Gabi & everyone at #Days”

Days fans certainly love Jimenez as Gabi, so this is a relief to many!

Jimenez had some pretty big shoes to fill when she stepped into the role of Gabi in June 2024. Fan favorite Camila Banus was in the role from 2010 to 2023, and her exit from the show was also quite surprising at the time.

Banus was also a recast of Gabi; however, she took over from actress Gabriela Rodriguez, who played the character from 2009 to 2010 and wasn’t overly established in the role.
