Amanda Halterman Shares Ancient Photos Of Her Biological Dad

Amanda Halterman from 1000-Lb Sisters comes from a complex family, but the Slaton siblings all share the same mom, Easter Darlene Ellis. On social media this week, she dropped some ancient photos of her and Chris Combs’s biological dad.

Various outlets tried to piece together the relationship between the members of the 1000-Lb Sisters cast. Some information reveals that Tammy and Amy Slaton’s dad was a man named Robert “Frank” Rednour. However, other information gleaned from Ancestry, and reported by Soap Opera Spy, suggests their dad was Larry Slaton, AKA Slayton.

Amanda Halterman’s mom seems to have been with several men during her life. In fact, there is thought to be at least one sibling who has never appeared on the 1000-Lb Sisters show. TLC fans are familiar with Tammy Slaton, Amy, Amanda, Misty, and Chris. So, on March 16, fans were interested in Amanda’s throwback pics on Instagram.

The Post Gave Her Dad’s Name

When Amanda shared her photos, she wrote a message to her brother, Chris Combs who helped look after Amy’s kids after her arrest when a camel bit her. In her caption, she said, “Chris Combs this is our biological father.” Next, she admitted, “He is no longer here.” Possibly, he passed away. In any event, they “did not have a relationship with him.”

The TLC star gave a name for her biological dad, and now, fans know that his name was “George.” And, she noted that despite his absence, neither of them would have existed without him. Fans seem to be very interested in the family, but Chris hasn’t yet replied to the post.

In the comments section, some Reality TV fans thought that Chris looked exactly like his father. One of them wrote, “What a handsome man,” adding, “No wonder that you and Chris are both so nice looking too.”
