The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor’s Plan To Sink Jabot Connects With Billy’s Chancellor Mission

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is more determined than ever. His one-sided talk with Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) reinforced that the war with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is back on big time.

Victor wants the Abbott family, specifically Jack, Diane Abbott (Susan Walters), and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), to continue suffering. He doesn’t think they’ve endured enough pain. So, Michael has been tasked with gathering intel about Jabot’s business plans.

However, the man Jack just greenlighted might gain unexpected leverage. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) was given the go-ahead to create Jabot Communications. But he didn’t tell his older brother or anyone else that he’s keeping close tabs on Chancellor.

Nikki Newman’s Non-Life-Threatening Event

Victor insists that Jack nearly killed Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Devoted fans know that feeling relates to scenes Braeden’s character wasn’t involved in but believes he knows more about than both leading players.

Jack made a life-threatening decision that was reckless, no doubt. But his choice to order illicit drugs and take them didn’t put Nikki’s life at risk directly. Instead, his selfless act served to shock Nikki out of her alcoholic relapse.

Nikki’s pleas to Victor have been brushed aside. He is convinced that Jack’s intention created moral danger for Nikki, even though she was never in peril. Of course, Victor also refuses to admit that Jack’s brazen effort worked.

Jack Abbott Isn’t Preparing For A Direct Hit

Victor hasn’t tipped his soapy hand. He might intend to wreck Jabot rather than seize it. The suffering he mentioned to Michael could involve selling pieces of Jabot off as he did with Glissade.

However, maximum pain could be infinitely deepened if Victor orchestrates a hostile takeover of the company Jack and Billy’s father, John Abbott (Jerry Douglas), founded. That would make their hated enemy the head of Jabot, which he could fold under the Newman umbrella.

Requesting specific information about Jabot’s business plans means that Victor will search for vulnerabilities and then attack. His pattern of locating or creating an opponent’s weaknesses has proven successful and can be repeated.

Billy Abbott Isn’t Letting Go Either

Billy has dealt himself a great hand. He has everyone convinced that Victor’s searing steal of Chancellor is behind him.

However, the audience learned that Billy had a clandestine call with an unknown ally in Paris, France, with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). He’d bluffed masterfully until that moment.

While Victor plots an underhanded move against Jabot, Billy intends the same with Chancellor. So, a clash is coming.

Victor doesn’t gamble. He manipulates reality, rigging games in his favor.

Betting was Billy’s forte in years past. But he’s not playing games now, and eventually, Jack stands to be the beneficiary of his brother’s determined efforts to fight the Moustache.
