The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Ian’s Escape Coincides With Sharon And Phyllis’ Disappearance

The Young and The Restless: Ian Ward (Ray Wise)

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Ian Ward’s (Ray Wise) storyline isn’t closed because he’s not dead. That open ending left savvy soap fans wondering whether Ian would be written out of the show indefinitely or reappear soon.

Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) is dead by all accounts. But Ian’s awakening while being driven away from the newest Newman ranch house was shocking.

But the drivers of that medical vehicle would have reported him missing, right?

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) would have learned if Ian had attacked them and then disappeared, and likely, so would everyone else. Not much soap time has passed since Wise’s character again avoided the otherworld. But where is he?

Phyllis Summers Isn’t Playing A Game

Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) last went missing when she faked her death. That’s not in play this time. Instead, her children are worried about her not being in touch.

Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) contacted her revived boyfriend, significant other, or whatever the fluidly subjective term for romance is for romance this week in Genoa City, Wisconsin. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is taking this seriously and is checking into it.

Having the GC Police Department on the case increases the odds of information being learned. Phyllis will be found but viewers know that these types of matters are stretched in daytime.

Sharon Newman Just Righted Her Life

Ian encouraged Jordan to frame Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) for Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) murder. But Ian’s the one who killed Heather.

Jordan’s manipulation of Sharon’s medication was horrible. However, that idea came through the twisted mind of her devious business partner. Ian had no qualms or later remorse about having wronged Sharon in such a vile manner.

Sharon survived Jordan’s kidnapping and hostage hold in GC’s underground. That was Sharon’s only saving grace because Ian told Jordan to eliminate her.

Ian Ward’s Latest Revenge Plot

It wouldn’t be surprising to learn that Ian somehow orchestrated his cloaked survival since the apparent transportation to the morgue. It is far-fetched to accept this outcome if true. But suspending disbelief is a staple that fans are used to digesting in the soapy world.

Assuming Ian holds Phyllis and Sharon also means that both ladies must put their feelings aside and work against a common enemy. That would create great soap, similar to when Victor and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) were trapped after a building collapse and later bonded in the hospital.

Stafford and Case crossed the thirty-year-cast-member threshold last year. So, it’s interesting to see this spotlight conflict storyline extending into the still-new year.

But that’s happened because this tale is that good, and if Ian is part of it, then it will be all the better with an unpredictable ending ahead.

Nate’s and Audra’s story line on the young and restless is so boring with Nate’s family. Can’t watch them anymore, so so boring.
