The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Will Real Sparks Fly Between Daphne And Carter?

Fans of The Bold and the Beautiful know that Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire) was first brought into Forrester Creations by Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline Macinnes Wood) to help get the company back into its proper hands.

Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) intended to turn Forrester into an international luxury brand, and it needed the perfect signature scent. Enter Daphne, a perfumer from France with the best nose in the business.

Daphne’s Blatant Seduction Failed

At first, Steffy believed that Daphne could somehow seduce Carter and cause descension between him and Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), his current squeeze and partner in the corporate takeover.

Daphne spent weeks slinking around the office and getting dangerously close to Carter with no luck. He seemed affected, but he wasn’t cracking. Steffy had underestimated Carter’s momentary devotion to hope, and also his focus on business.

Daphne Then Played On Carter’s Guilt

When blatant seduction failed, Daphne decided to try a different angle. She realized that at his core, Carter is a very good man, so his recent actions had to be weighing heavily on him.

She dropped the kitten purr and began speaking to Carter’s heart. Ashing him the tough questions and telling him that she knows beneath everything is a layer of guilt that he is wrestling with.

Carter’s walls are visibly coming down with Daphne. He may not be spilling his guts, yet, but it looks like it’s only a matter of time before he does. In their conversations, it looks like Daphne really does see who Carter really is and ultimately, that’s going to go a long way.

Daphne Understands What Brooke Doesn’t

Carter and Hope have spent the last six months united in love and work, but they are not seeing eye to eye over the last few weeks. His guilt is making him feel like a traitor and Hope’s insistence that he is instead a hero just doesn’t seem to resonate.

His expression when she speaks says it all and for her part, Hope seems unable to read any room. She is the only one at Forrester Creations celebrating and Carter is clearly beginning to see her differently.

He fell for Hope because of all of her good qualities, but they seem to have evaporated. Meanwhile, Daphne is picking up where Hope left off when it comes to understanding the man that Carter is.

Carter and Hope seem destined to split and he may naturally drift towards Dapgne. What do you think will happen next?
