Things are really heating up on The Bold and the Beautiful, and it looks like John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), is about to have a huge problem on his hands.

The story of Luna Nozawa’s (Lisa Yamada) paternity has taken various twists and turns over the last year and now, the truth about her DNA is in Finn’s hands, literally.

Last week, Finn explained his whole decades-old backstory with Poppy Nozawa (Romy Park). He and his adopted aunt shared a special relationship when he was in college and that led to a night in his bed.

Poppy was his first, and he has already done the math and knew he is quite likely Luna’s father. That math works, and then there’s the fact that three other men have been tested and none of their DNA has matched Luna’s.

Finn asked Poppy to tell him the truth and after a lot of resistance and gazing at her shoes, she said Finn isn’t Luna’s biological dad.

Poppy seemed to expect Finn to run a test after she left because she went running to visit Luna to tell her the “truth” about her father. As she scrambled, Finn took a DNA test.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: What Will Finn Do If Luna Is His?

We are so used to watching Finn be the noble, good guy. He doesn’t seem to have an intentionally dishonest bone in his body, but everyone has a turning point.

If he is a match, not only is his daughter a killer, but she kidnapped and intended to kill his wife, Steffy Forrester (Jaqueline Macinnes Wood).

If Finn decides that he needs to step up and claim Luna as his daughter, there is no way that his marriage will endure, right?

Steffy and Finn have literally been through, and gotten themselves through, just about every scenario imaginable. The writers want us to see them as invincible, but everyone has a breaking point and it seems likely that this could be Steffy’s.

If Finn decides to stay quiet about being Luna’s father and the truth comes out some other way, as we know that it will, that would likely be even worse for his marriage.
