General Hospital Spoilers: Cody’s Cousin Confrontation-Sasha Lashes Out Over His Big Mouth!

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Cody Bell’s (Josh Kelly) in for a major tongue lashing once Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) tracks down the source of her baby’s paternity rumors.

Thanks to Cody and his big mouth, it seems half of Port Charles and all of the Quartermaines and then some, think Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is the baby daddy!

Michael Is The Baby’s Father, Jason Would Be The Baby’s Great-Uncle

Sasha knows her baby’s father is Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Jason knows it’s Michael, but they’re keeping it secret due to Michael’s child custody situation with Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen).

Cody happened to walk by the Quartermaine boathouse deck, witnessing only when Sasha’s baby was kicking and her having Jason feel it-and jumped to the wrong conclusion!

You have to admit it makes sense-Sasha’s not really close to Jason, actually just getting to know him, even though she was once engaged to Michael.

So, coming in at the end of the conversation, and not having even been in the Quartermaine mansion when Sasha blurted out her announcement, Cody’s misunderstanding made sense.

However, he should have kept his mouth shut until he had more facts, but the truth is, Cody is one of those who’s fire, aim and ready instead of ready, aim, fire!

Doesn’t Cody Know About The Word “Assume”?

It seems although Cody knows all about horses, he doesn’t know anything about donkeys, and especially not that donkey related spelling trick to remember how to spell the word “assume”!

Yet, assume is exactly what Cody did, and not only that, but he ran with it, telling anyone who would listen, including Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).

As Maxie and Sasha sat having lunch in the Surf Lounge, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) overheard, and sat down with Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and told him!

Emma, of course, is in Sasha’s family circle since her grandpa Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) is Sasha’s dad, and she’s related to Cody, too. Jason doesn’t know about all the rumors, because he’s in Germany visiting Michael at the burn clinic in Baden-Baden!

Jason’s Out Of The Country And His Supposed Impending Fatherhood Is Common Knowledge, Sasha Lashes Out At Her Cousin

By the time Emma gets the word out, wanting to contact Robert (Gio talked her out of it) Sasha’s next talking to is from Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).

Sasha is still upset and tells others it’s none of their business who her baby daddy is, but what’s she going to say to Jason when he gets back from Germany?

She at least has to admit it isn’t Jason; she finally finds out her cousin Cody is the source of the rumor and that’s going to be a tough conversation!

She and Cody know each other very well-one step away from TOO WELL, had Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) not intervened. But by the time she gets done lashing out at Cody’s jumping to conclusions, he’ll feel more like he’s been jumping to concussions!
