Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: JJ Regrets Bonding With Doug When Deception Is Exposed

Days of Our Lives Spoiler reveal that JJ Deveraux (Casey Moss) thought he was wrong about Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer) stealing Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) necklace.

JJ even offered Doug a friendly shoulder when he told him about his feelings for Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis). However, JJ may soon regret giving Doug the benefit of the doubt.

Doug Williams III Is The Jewelry Thief

Doug Williams III is the one who stole Julie’s necklace and had Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to fence it for him. However, the necklace didn’t even bring enough money for Doug to pay off his debt.

Doug ended up borrowing money from Holly to take care of his debt and get those thugs that beat him up off of his back.

Currently very few people know this. However, the truth is bound to come out at some point and bite Doug. Julie may find it in her heart to forgive him but that doesn’t mean the rest of the family, especially JJ will.

Shawn Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) is JJ’s partner at the Salem PD and JJ will definitely share what he finds with him. How will Doug defend himself?

Leo Stark Still Has The Necklace

Leo may still have the necklace because he was pretty fond of it himself. Leo wanted to keep it and certainly had to money to do so at the time.

However, Leo also knew that Doug wanted to get the necklace back and may have kept it himself because of that. However, now Leo has no job and could get caught trying to get rid of it.

Of course, Leo is going to rat Doug out before he will go to jail for stealing something that was sold to him. Leo would throw him under the bus in a heartbeat.

How would Doug explain his way out of it once the truth comes out? How could Doug ever face anyone in the family again after stealing that necklace from them?

Julie Williams Could Refuse To Press Charges

Julie could certainly refuse to press charges against Doug over the necklace. Unfortunately, Doug reminds Julie of her husband and that makes her very soft when it comes to him.

Once Julie learns about the people who were after Doug, she will be all for forgiving and forgetting. Julie certainly is not going to allow the family to run Doug off even after all of this.

Doug has just started to fit in and has everyone’s acceptance in the family, now all of that trust will be blown. How will Doug ever get the family to believe in him again?

Can Doug be redeemed or will he be outcast for good after causing everyone to blame Steven Olson (Stephen Schnetzer) for taking the heirloom?
