Days Of Our Lives Comings & Goings February 17-21: New Character Debut, Old Fan Favs Return, More Kidnapping Drama

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal some interesting casting changes fans should note for the week of February 17-21 and beyond. Who’s coming to the land of Salem and who’s returning? Time to find out!

Welcome To Salem, Hank Northrop!

DOOL fans should brace themselves for a new face in Salem as Hank Northrop is set to join the soap. The newcomer is the son of General Hospital (GH) star Lynn Herring (Lucy Coe) and the late soap veteran Wayne Northrop.

Interestingly enough, Wayne played two characters on Days over the years, Roman Brady, from 1981 to 1984 and 1991 to 1994, as well as Alex North from 2005 to 2006.

TV Insider reports that Hank will work closely with the Abe Carver (James Reynolds) character. His first appearance or the character he’s playing has yet to be announced.

J&J’s Big Return

Meanwhile, fan favorites Matthew Ashford (Jack Deveraux) and Melissa Reeves (Jennifer Horton Deveraux) are back on set and filming scenes for the soap. Casey Moss, who plays the super couple’s DOOL son, JJ Deveraux, shared a photo of him and the two on Instagram.

Reeves and Ashford are two of a number of major characters slated to come back to the canvas this year as the soap gears up for its landmark 60th anniversary season, which takes place in November. The last time fans saw Jack and Jennifer was in December 2024.

Woman In White Appearance

Days fans can expect to see more of the Woman in White and Aremid, as Roslyn Gentle will return this coming week.

It sounds like Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) mom will have scenes with both Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) during the Friday, February 21 episode. Will Rafe and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) finally be saved? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
