Daytime fans may recognize Zach Tinker as Sonny Kiriakis from Days of Our Lives (DOOL) and Fen Baldwin on The Young and the Restless (Y&R), but the actor recently hopped on social media to let his followers know about something major lined up for 2025.

Tinker hopped on Instagram and posted an update on a recent project. The picture he uploaded features a Deadline article with the headline, “Floriane Andersen, Marianne Bourg, Yessi Sanchez & Nina Seul Launch Artak Pictures.”
A second photo in the post revealed a bit of the article, which noted, “Baby Moon, a drama about motherhood directed by Courtney Hope Thérond. Zach Tinker is attached to star in the latter.”
In Tinker’s IG caption he wrote, “In 2024, I was introduced to @florianeandersen by @anneorfaith to work on a project together. Through her, I met the rest of the @artakpictures team, and @courtneytherond.”
He added in the caption, “Never did I imagine it would be the start of one of the most fulfilling work relationships/friendships I’ve ever had.”
The actor wrapped things up with, “Between @wishyouwereherefilm, @thisperfectmovie, and I LIVE HERE NOW by the incomparable @juliepacino, I have gotten to produce side by side this wonderful, talented, driven group of women. I’m in awe of their diligence, hustle, and ambition. I can’t wait to see them continue to grow their company, resume, and solidify their place in the film industry.”
From 2018 to 2023, Tinker was recast in the Fen Baldwin role, taking over from Max Ehrich on the Y&R, which also earned him a Daytime Emmy nomination in 2019.
Tinker was also recast in the DOOL role of Sonny Kiriakis, a character originated by actor Freddie Smith. He played Sonny in Peacock’s Beyond Salem miniseries in 2021, and joined the mothership show, Days, from 2022 to 2023.
