Ian’s plan, which included his mention of more blood needing to be spilled, feels scary. Sharon’s abduction was happening while Ian drugged Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and then held her, with Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) happening upon them.

Diane assumed Victor got the best of her after she learned that he gutted the company. However, Jack secretly purchased the divisions Victor sold off cheaply and reconstituted what recently was Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) intended business for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson).
The audience continues to digest the complex nature of Glissade, now in its third iteration. Victor doesn’t care about that company; paying back Jack does. So, Bergman’s character has Diane heading Glissade right now.

The one point that Jack gives Victor is that he does care about his family and will do anything to protect them. So, Jordan and Ian will be confronted and, in all likelihood, doubly defeated.
Before Victor devotes time to undermining the happy Abbott couple, with the true intention of defeating them, he must play the hero.
One of the great aspects of the legendary character Braeden plays is that Victor is the anti-hero. The convergence of Jordan and Ian’s threat and the waiting battle with Jack and Diane underscores who Victor has been across four-plus decades in the fabled Genoa City, Wisconsin.
