Just as Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) faced the haunting visions of Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby) while under the influence of PCP, we might witness a similar scenario where Jordan manipulates Claire.
“Jordan” could whisper doubts into Claire’s mind about her relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), suggesting it’s doomed and that she will ultimately cause him pain.
Perhaps “Jordan” could even imply that Harrison Abbott (Redding Munsell) is at risk whenever Claire is nearby; in her final moments, Jordan claimed that Claire was just as flawed as she was.
She was attempting to highlight Claire’s darker side, especially since she had previously plotted to poison the tea and ensnare her in a trap.
Jordan made the conscious decision to drink that tea, fully aware of its implications, but Claire is grappling with deep-seated trauma that could weigh heavily on her.
The hallucinations of Jordan might further unravel Claire’s already fragile state of mind, pushing her closer to the brink of being institutionalized.
If she can’t break free from the haunting presence of “Jordan,” especially after the loss of her great-aunt, she may find herself back in the psychiatric ward.
The visions of “Jordan” could intensify, overwhelming her until she reaches her breaking point-regardless of how it happens, it’s clear untangling herself from this Jordan ordeal will be anything but simple.
