Electra owes her life to Will after the recent scare with Remy Pryce (Christian Weissman). It does not overstate the plot to claim that Remy could have killed Electra. Thankfully, that didn’t happen because Will was on it.

As viewers have seen, Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) has conned Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) for an incredible second time. Fool you once, Bill, shame on Luna. Fool you twice, Bill, shame on you.

Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) has since become Sheila Carter Sharpe in one of this show’s more inspired daytime pairings. She and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) were the most unlikely odd couple, but they’ve made it work and love each other.

However, like Bill, Deacon’s radar can be off. He hired Remy without a background check because he was desperate to fill a staff need. That gave Remy access to Electra, which he exploited badly.

Looping back to Dollar Bill, how can he be so blind to Luna’s latest manipulation?

It seems hard to imagine that Bill didn’t vet her prison beating claim. Yet, he may know more than has been revealed. Alternatively, Luna may be someone he feels genuinely sorry for based on his perception of their shared childhood traumas.

Luna projects as wanting to eliminate Electra. That probably won’t involve erasing her from Los Angeles, as she did with Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul Hollis Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers).

Electra was on Will’s arm in Bill’s living room. Luna became instantly transfixed with Morrow’s character, just as Electra had.

Yamada’s character faces a unique problem. She can’t let anyone other than Bill see her in his mansion because she’s supposed to be in jail, serving decades for the double murders. So, that barrier will need to be creatively addressed.

Seeing Bill serve as Luna’s defacto warden is a hoot. It’s illogical that he would have first believed her story, so quickly secured her release, and then had her remanded to his care.

But this is soap, where the most incredible events are possible. The audience will enjoy the flighty ride as long as the plot flows in compelling directions.

Yamada is a strong actor, so seeing her character continue is appealing. Fans know Will and Electra are the next people whose lives she’ll invade in this daytime version of LA.
