General Hospital Spoilers: Tracy Wrong to Choose Lulu Over Brook Lynn, Favoritism Comes Back to Bite Her?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that some fans are not feeling the way that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) has chosen Lulu Spencer (Alexis Havins) over Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).

This week Tracy put her foot in it at Deception by hiring Lulu when BLQ and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) had declined to give her a job. Will Tracy’s favoritism come back to bite her? Here’s what to know!

GH Spoilers: Why Does Tracy Favor Lulu?

There are several reasons why Tracy is so fond of Lulu. For starters, she was her stepmom and during part of this time Lulu’s mom Laura Spencer (Genie Francis) was in a catatonic state. Teen Leslie Lu desperately needed a mother figure and eventually Tracy stepped up. But not before some awful rows, and as we all know, going to battle with someone can bring two people very close.

Brook Lynn is Tracy’s granddaughter and of course she loves her. But Tracy is thrilled that Lulu has come out of a four-year coma and her feelings may be getting the best of her.

Secondly, Lulu is the late Luke Spencer’s (Anthony Geary) daughter. As such, her presence is reassuring to Tracy and Lulu represents a part of her life that she wishes she could get back.

Tracy spent Lulu’s formative years with her, but the same can’t be said of Brook Lynn who was raised in Bensonhurst by her mom Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer).

Tracy is all about family, and her motto is family first. Lulu is not blood, but she is the daughter she never had.

In the January 24 episode, Lulu was told by BLQ and Maxie that they didn’t think she would be a good fit at Deception, especially since she would be the former’s assistant and there is bad blood between them.

After the situation was explained to her, Lulu agreed but then Tracy showed up and hired her on the spot. Lulu could have said no, but she didn’t and we predict that this is going to cause trouble immediately.
