Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Sami Brady Returns As EJ Dimera Gets Shot
Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that the cast changes have been like a revolving door in 2024. However, it is now a new year, and in a few months, new writers will be directing the storyline. Recently, even more changes have been teased.
Many Changes Have Happened In Salem
Days of Our lives spoilers indicate that Salem has celebrated its first Christmas without Doug Williams (Bill Hayes). Drake Hogestyn, who played John Black, passed away in September, followed by Wayne Northrup, who was the original Roman Brady. Northrup left the show years ago and Josh Taylor took over the role.
However, Days of Our Lives will be celebrating it’s 60th anniversary in November, 2025. As we mentioned, Head writer Ron Carlivita was replaced over the summer with Paula Cwickly and Jeanne Marie Ford.
The new material from these writers will start to appear in April. In a recent interview with TV Insiders, co-executive producer Janet Drucker offered a peek at what’s to come.
“We have really settled into and are enjoying the trajectory of the show. We are truly enthusiastic about how our vision is taking shape and can’t wait to share it with our fans, old and new.”
DOOL Spoilers: Changes Are Coming
According to Drucker, fans can expect things to change in the Spring. The new writers are making a shift back to focusing on the core families of Salem. Of course, this includes “Brady, Horton, Kiriakis, DiMera, and Hernandez families.” Drucker teases, “We’ll see Sami [Brady, played by Alison Sweeney] and Rex [Brady, Kyle Lowder] come home for visits.”
Drucker added that “the closer we get to the show’s 60th anniversary in the fall, the more familiar faces will appear.” Drucker also included some storylines that fans can look forward too.
This certainly includes the “Who Shot EJ Dimera (Dan Feuerriegel)?” storyline, which includes almost the whole town of Salem.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: An All-Encompassing Mystery
Fans know that this is not the first time EJ has been shot. The last time EJ was shot was by his bodyguard years ago and was presumed to be dead. However, it was revealed in 2017 that EJ was alive thanks to Dr Rolf (Richard Wharton).
Drucker also teased that EJ and Belle Black (Martha Madison) won’t be able to resist each other.
On the Days Instagram page it was posted, “Cheers to another year! Wishing you a Happy New Year filled with happiness and joy!”
Will things be all happy and joyous? Fans doubt that, however, it will certainly be interesting to watch.
