Days of Our Lives

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers indicate some interesting casting changes to note over the week of January 6-10 and beyond. Check out who’s coming and going from the land of Salem, down below!

DOOL Spoilers: Two Characters Recast

Days spoilers suggest fans need to brace themselves as some younger actresses are set to be replaced. Madelyn Kientz is scheduled to exit her Sophia Choi role, as Rachel Boyd will take over as of February 12.

Interestingly enough, fans will see both Sophia and her mom, Amy Choi (Shi Ne Nielsen) this week. Sophia will have run-ins with both Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) during the Wednesday, January 8, and Thursday, January 9 episodes, while Amy will lay down the law to Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Tate on Tuesday, January 9 regarding the “baby” situation.

In other recast news, actress Finley Rose Slater will exit the role of Rachel Black, and Alice Halsey will take over, as of April 24. Rachel will be seen during the Wednesday, January 8 show as she interacts with mom, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) and the woman she’s been sending threatening texts to, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).

Days Of Our Lives: Abe Carver (James Reynolds)

Days Spoilers: Two Baddies Return

Meanwhile, DOOL spoilers promise two baddies will return. First off, Nurse Whitley, the crazed lunatic (obsessed with Body & Soul) who kidnapped Abe Carver (James Reynolds) when he had amnesia some time ago, will return to the canvas on February 5. Meanwhile, Gwen Rizczech resurfaces on March 10, as Emily O’Brien reprises the role.

This week, actor Derek Yates returns to the canvas as Kerry. He’ll have scenes with Javi Hernandez (Al Calderon) and Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) during the Tuesday, January 7 show.

DOOL Spoilers: Soap Veteran Guest Appearance

Lastly, soap vet Michael Dietz is entering the canvas for a quick run in April; however, DOOL is remaining hush-hush on his storyline for now.

Fans may remember Dietz from his work on Guiding Light as Alan-Michael Spaulding, as well as Port Charles’ Joe Scanlon, and Bold and the Beautiful’s Mark Maclaine.
