The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Jordan Howard (Colleen Zenk) provided viewers with good information. Seeing her flashback to the prison meeting with Reverend Ian Ward (Ray Wise) was fantastic.

Whether Ian knew Jordan’s story and purposely targeted her is a good question. But devoted fans are probably thinking he did based on his backstory and history of conniving.

So, Jordan was probably lured into Ian’s revenge scheme. He then orchestrated what was termed an identity switch. Of course, that soapy scenario was needed to make the current arc work.

How could it possibly be? Ian and Jordan know the Newmans and carry hard grudges against them.

With the second sentence in the last paragraph being true, the payback game is on. However, Ian sees Jordan as having made a mistake. That’s not precisely true because he’s the one who led her to drug Sharon Newman (Sharon Case).

It remains unusual that Sharon, mainly, is the Newman they’ve targeted. Jordan had no beef with her. While Ian does, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) are the people he loathes the most in Genoa City, Wisconsin.

The first hypnotism session produced immediate results. Sharon’s recall of the details involving the night of the car crash made her want to unearth more repressed memories.

Dr. Alan Laurent’s (Christopher Cousins) suggestion that Sharon not push herself too hard was helpful. First, it made logical sense. Second, it allows the storyline to stretch a bit more and makes Ian and Jordan continue to scramble.

Ian’s directive to Jordan was chilling. He wants Sharon dead, and Jordan is not above that type of criminal act. So, the audience will watch if Sharon’s next session happens before that anticipated assault.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ian Ward Is Risking More Than Jordan Howard

Jordan will return to prison if she’s caught. So, she’s playing with free money.

In contrast, viewers learned from Jordan’s recent conversation with Ian that he’s a free man. Again, making the legitimate issue of rehabilitation seem crooked, Ian’s transformation to the so-called religious life is an apparent shame.

So, he knows that if captured, freedom is gone. One must wonder if Ian, Jordan, or both characters will be captured, escape, or be killed off, or will each person reach a different fate?

Zenk joined the cast in 2023. The longtime veteran of the beloved steamer As the World Turns, Barbara Ryan, has been nothing short of terrific. So, it would be a shame to see Jordan realize extinction. Hopefully, she goes no further than back to prison.

As for Ian, he’s had a run that spans more than a decade and seems the more likely candidate to realize his demise. But, being daytime, even that seeming fate could always be reversed someday.
