The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Cricket & Danny’s Holiday Preview – Love Birds Race With The Clock To Spend New Year’s Together
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) and Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) are set to return to Genoa City, with their appearances airing during the December 30 and January 2 episodes.
Bell and Damian recently caught up with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) to preview the storyline that is bringing them back to town.
Y&R Spoilers: The Holiday Race Is On!
Bell and Damian tell SOD that Danny and Cricket want to spend the holidays together; however, due to some circumstances, this may not happen. Christine is set to leave Danny’s world tour a few days early to spend time with Nina Webber (Tricia Cast) in Los Angeles, but what could delay her in meeting up with her love?
It sounds like The Bug and The Rockstar will be in a race against the clock to make sure they can ring in 2025 together … so could their New Year’s kiss be at risk?
Y&R Spoilers: All’s Well That Ends Well
Damian goes on to explain that Cricket and Danny will be in GC to visit Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant); however, from the sounds of it, they’ll get split up for a bit and hope to reunite for that midnight kiss on New Year’s Eve.
Of course, a double date will be set up, as Christine and Danny are set to party out on December 31 with fellow super couple, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc), which may have Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) that much more irritated with her former “best friends”.
Some preview pics were recently released, and it looks like the little town’s big NYE bash this year is taking place at the GCAC’s jazz lounge, where fans can expect to see more characters than Cricket, Danny, and The Baldwins.
Bell also told SOD that she rarely gets to work with Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) and Susan Walters (Diane Abbott), and it was “really fun” to do so. It sounds like New Year’s Eve in Genoa City could bring on some drama; however, fans will have to tune in to find out.
