As the audience learned, Electra was the victim of so-called deepfakes. The created images appear to have been caused by a perceived friend, Remy Price (Christian Weissman).
But instead of Remy accidentally bumping into Electra at Il Giardino, he planned it. Thankfully, Will Spencer (Crew Morrow) is in her life and projects as a crucial protector.

It had been years since Ivy Forrester (Ashley Brewer) was on the show. But she returned to Los Angeles, California, earlier this year and let her only-ever husband, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), know exactly how she still feels about him.
The above was the setup to establish Ivy’s plausible return to town. She subsequently came back and brought her niece with her. Together, the ladies pitched Eric Forrester (John McCook), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) after Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) helped arrange Ivy’s meeting.
Carter didn’t know that Ivy was working with Electra. Eric was very receptive to his extended family’s inclusion in FC and endorsed the plan to revive what had been Quinn Fuller’s (Rena Sofer) jewelry line.

Being a victim of head games implies that the target was vulnerable. Considering that Electra has no idea that Remy is obsessed with her lets the audience know that she is a good-hearted person who thinks the best of others.
Remy’s motivations will eventually be revealed, and they could be as simple as a guy who has never matured. Alternatively, he could have grandiose ideas about a relationship with Ivy that never materialized or be someone who believes that a friendly soul is specifically interested in him when Electra isn’t.
Weissman’s character just got hired by Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). That economic opportunity was pure soap as it gives Remy a base and offers regular access to Electra.

It was natural for Will to ask Electra about Remy. Any new boyfriend, love interest, significant other, fiance, husband, or whatever tag Morrow’s character wears in Electra’s life would be protective.
It shouldn’t take long to pick up on Remy’s interest in Grace’s character. Electra is naturally magnetic, and his hidden attraction to her will be impossible to hide.
Will projects as a barrier Remy needs to deal with or eliminate, which signals major trouble ahead. So, the audience has begun holding its collective breath as all factors are set in motion, with further glimpses inside the mind of B&B’s newest villain soon coming.
