It is still being determined whether Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) can sustain his takeover plan and make it last. Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) believes Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) signed away their rights to be in charge.
However, Eric Forrester (John McCook) is still the company’s head, and even its new manager, Carter, acknowledges that. Yet fans wonder how this power struggle will play out and how long it might last.
Ridge’s friendship with Carter runs deep. Carter feels that as well. However, he’s not willing to meet Ridge’s two demands.
Kaye’s character wants his longtime friend, current Chief Operating Officer, and FC’s lead attorney to reverse course. The legal paperwork has been filed, but there is a way out.
Carter is refusing to step down as manager of the Legally Licensed Corporation Ridge asked him to create to avoid double overseas taxation. Saint-Victor’s character believes the Logan family deserves its due, and so does he.
In addition, Carter will not break his new relationship with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle).
Steffy knows what happened. Hope got her hooks into Carter this fall and poisoned his mind.
Wood’s character has seen Hope’s game before, starting with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). But more recently, Hope wronged Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson).
Thomas fell in love with Hope after a few years of being fixated on her. Steffy conveniently leaves that part of the backstory out when bad-mouthing Hope to her face or behind her back.
However, it is fair to say that Hope made a reckless decision to become involved in a transactional relationship with Thomas. That eventually led to two failed marriage proposals and his leaving the United States.
An easy forecast could include the rise of a company filled with former FC veterans. For starters, Carter, Hope, and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang). Add Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) and maybe Katie Logan (Heather Tom).
It would be hard to imagine honey bear Eric’s renewed love, Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis), jumping ship.
Before Carter created the deceptive legal paperwork, he said he would invest his money in his luxury brand transformation plan.
Brooke also has money and might impulse into financially backing a rival company she and Carter co-found with Hope, the Logan family, and Zende.
The above scenario would be great soap and a better alternative than believing that Carter can’t be stopped through a lawsuit. He intentionally deceived his superiors, and there must be a favorable judge to the Forresters who would agree.
