But as an actor, I realized I needed to approach him from a more compassionate angle to truly connect with Remy. The actor took the time to delve into his character’s psyche-Weissman described Remy as someone who “has faced neglect and isolation.”

Lacking a true bond with friends or family, Remy’s attachment to Electra blooms from this void. Weissman believes Remy is “essentially a wounded child who struggles to understand his feelings.”

The actor is quite familiar with television; Weissmann has appeared in shows like Girl Meets World and the 2020 revival of Saved by the Bell. However, he has always had a desire to delve into the soap opera world, inspired by his mother and grandmother, who are avid fans of B&B and Y&R.

Weissmann reminisces about the moment he received a call from B&B, a long-awaited opportunity; he first auditioned for the series when he was about “16 or 17.”

Although he often found himself on the verge of landing a part, the role would ultimately go to someone else. Nevertheless, he remained persistent, and landing the role of Remy proved to be a significant breakthrough for him.
