General Hospital Stars Steve Burton & Bradford Anderson Give Fans A Special Christmas Gift This Season

General Hospital (GH) stars Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson (Damien Spinelli) are not only known for the characters they play in the land of Port Charles but also for hosting the Daily Drama podcast, which drops new episodes on Wednesdays every week.

Still, as Christmas landed on a Wednesday this year, fans were anticipating no new show, and that the duo would take a holiday break.

They were pleasantly surprised to find out how wrong they were!

In a fun twist, Burton and Anderson uploaded a short, but lovely new podcast episode that they recorded backstage on GH during one of the soap’s holiday shows.

Anderson happily announced that this was their “Christmas” episode that would likely be downloaded on YouTube on December 25.

He, along with Burton, were wearing some fun holiday jackets, they talked about their recent holiday tour and also reflected on some GH Christmas traditions, too.

The episode was just over 11 minutes; however, it was a nice little holiday gift for fans who look forward to Daily Drama.

After they talked about holiday traditions both in their lives and on the show, Bradford pondered what their characters’ favorite holiday might be. Burton responded by stating, “When I was Jason Quartermaine, being a part of that family during the holidays, just as the character but also as the actor, we just had a blast. “I remember I had some fun Christmases with Sam (McCall – Kelly Monaco).”

This prompted Anderson to note, “I think we spent some Christmases together,” (referring to when Spinelli and Jason were in the penthouse together).

Still, he notes that for Spinelli, being with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) having a house full of kids, and spending it with family – a “true” family, would be his character’s favorite.
