General Hospital Spoilers: Jon Couldn’t Imagine He’d Be In The World Of Port Charles This Long

Jon Lindstrom made his entrance into General Hospital in 1992, already a seasoned presence in daytime television. He had previously portrayed characters like Brady Chapin on Rituals, Mark McCormick on Santa Barbara, and Paul Jarre on Generations. From 2006 to 2010, he took on the role of Craig Montgomery in As the World Turns before making his way back to Port Charles.

Little did he know that he would become a significant figure in the show for over three decades. “It’s been a long, durable career that I’m really, really thankful for,” he shared with Soaps.com.

Throughout the years, he has stepped away from the show to lead the General Hospital spinoff Port Charles alongside Kin Shriner (Scotty) and Lynn Herring (Lucy).

He played Craig Montgomery again on As the World Turns, and made guest appearances in various series, including Bosch, Bull, Everwood, and True Detective.

But General Hospital has consistently been home base; “I have been fortunate to collaborate with remarkable individuals, whether in daytime television, nighttime shows, or feature films,” Lindstrom reflects with admiration. “I’ve had the privilege of performing in theater both on this coast and the other, indulging in experiences that many can only fantasize about.”

General Hospital Spoilers: Jon Continues Reminiscing

He reflects, “Being where I am now is incredible; each day of the week, I wake up knowing I can engage in something I truly love, regardless of what it is. There’s an abundance of activities I get to enjoy: writing, acting, working on films, collaborating with a non-profit, and spending time with my family…”

On the anniversary of Lindstrom’s second role in GH as Kevin Collins, the “good twin” of the serial killer Ryan Chamberlain, he can’t help but appreciate his good fortune.

It’s been a real answer to prayer for Jon to have been blessed with the steady acting work over the years, and other opportunities as well.

And we might add, over the years he played identical twins Kevin and Ryan in split screen, in the same scenes, that takes an enormous amount of concentration and talent.
