General Hospital Spoilers: Is Lulu Too Good to be True?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there’s a new Lulu Spencer in Port Charles, New York. The character is now being played by Alexa Havens, after portrayals by Julie Berman and Emme Rylan.

This iteration of Lulu has generated lots of fan discussion, and as is usually the case, some fans have favorites while others are concerned with getting to know how the new Lulu operates.

General Hospital: Lulu Dividing Fans

Lulu hit the ground running in her return to town—literally. After four years in a coma and a fresh kidney transplant, our girl was able to sneak out of her hospital bed and hitchhike to town.

Since then she’s been on a mission to reconnect with her loved ones, especially her missing daughter Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez).

All of this nonstop activity would make a normal person tired, but Lulu is imitating the Energizer Bunny. And that has some fans annoyed.

General Hospital spoilers: IS Lulu Over the Top?

Lulu has made contact with her mom Laura Collins, (Genie Francis), her brother Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson), her son Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) and her ex Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) who is in mourning that his GF Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) died saving Lulu.

But through all of this drama, Lulu’s stitches have remained intact, her kidney is getting along swimmingly, and she barely needs to sleep. We know that we have to suspend disbelief with soaps, but is this miraculous recovery too much?

GH spoilers: Lulu On Fire

Now it appears that Lulu is ready to go into stealth mode and retrieve Charlotte from wherever she is with her dad Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). On the December 23 Charlotte called Lulu, told her where she is, and now Lulu is set to rescue her.

This Mission Impossible Lulu resembles Julie Berman’s kicka** version of Lulu from 2005-2013. The current Lulu’s fierce dedication to family resembles Rylan’s version which she took over in 2013.

And yet Havens has put her own spin on Lulu, too. We see Lulu as an older, wiser person, but with the same spunk and loving qualities fans have become accustomed to. Plus, she’s apparently the world’s fastest healer.
