General Hospital Spoilers: Fans are still hoping that Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) could return to our GH screens. However, Geary has left the show, and his character was killed off years ago. Fans still believe it is possible for Luke to return.

Anthony Geary Has Been Gone Almost Ten Years

General Hospital Spoilers reveal that Tony left the show almost ten years ago. When he left, he was upset with the writing and didn’t want anything to do with that team any longer. Later, the character was killed off in a so-called accident that was later revealed to be murder.

Now that Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins) is awake and Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is home. Fans believe that Luke should be home with his children. Of course, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) are both in Port Charles as well. Luke’s absence is clearly felt.

GH Spoilers: Anthony Geary Wanted A Change

Luke was killed off in a cable car accident after Anthony had left the show. However, at the time, he wanted to move full time to Amsterdam and explore other options. Geary also wanted away from the rat race that is soap opera acting. The physically toll can simply be too much, and he wanted to get away from that.

Geary went on to tell TV Insider, “I really don’t want to die, collapsing in a heap, on that GH set one day. That wouldn’t be too poetic. In fact, it would be poetically incorrect. I have another life and I want time to explore it. Ever since I discovered Amsterdam and made it my home, I have found my artistic and social fulfillment there.”

General Hospital Spoilers: Would Anthony Geary Consider Returning?

With all of the talk about Luke lately, fans cannot help but wonder if the show is hinting that he may return. After all, Anthony did a cameo when Jane Elliot retired a few years ago. Now that Tracy is back, one has to wonder if Luke will return from the dead once again and show up for Spanky and the rest of the family.

Lulu certainly doesn’t believe that her father is dead because that just doesn’t happen. Luke may be down, but he is never out. How could someone have managed to catch him off guard like that? Will Luke turn up in Port Charles alive and well before it is all said and done?
