Days of our Lives Spoilers: Old Friends And Family Return

It’s time for Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) to bury her beloved husband Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) after more than 50 years of marriage.

Julie is shocked to see how many people return for Doug’s memorial, including her brother, Steven Olson (Stephen Schnetzer), who nobody has seen in decades.

Liz Chandler (Gloria Loring) and Marie Horton (Maree Cheatham) also make their way back to Salem. There is no love loss between Liz and Marie as they once fought over the affections of Neil Curtis (Joe Gallison) and Liz shot Marie and temporarily paralyzed her when she thought Marie was an intruder in Neil’s house when Neil and Marie were married.

Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso) also makes her way back to Salem with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) as she tearfully says goodbye to her father.

At least Lani Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) were already in town to be a comfort to his grandmother during this tragic time.

New Surprises

Somehow Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) is able to open the mysterious treasure box that seemed to have fallen from the sky after the Horton House went up in flames earlier this year.

Julie had tried everything to open it and she had no luck at all. Ciara finds the task to be as easy as could be and is surprised when everyone else looks on in shock.

Lucas Horton (Bryan R. Dattilo), Shawn, and Jennifer Deveraux (Melissa Reeves) can barely believe it. What will they find in there?

Julie also finds a treasure of sorts at Doug’s grave. She meets a young man who introduces himself as Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer).

He is Doug’s grandson via his rarely seen and rarely heard about son, Dougie Williams LeClaire. Julie brings Doug’s grandson home to meet the family. He looks around and admires his heritage, but is there something more to this young man than meets the eye? Is he to be trusted?
