Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Is Abigail DiMera Returning To Salem In 2025?
Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers note that fans had some hopes that Abigail DiMera (last played by Marci Miller) would return to the canvas recently; however, those dreams were squashed when they realized that Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) was faking it all and that she wasn’t really Abby.
Unfortunately, Cat and her brother Mark Greene (Jonah Robinson) were simply trying to dupe Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), as Clyde Weston (James Read) was blackmailing them.
Now that the “Fake Abigail” storyline has wrapped up, could the show usher in a real Abigail return in 2025?
Days Spoilers: Anything Is Possible In The Land Of Salem
Abigail was murdered by Clyde in June 2022, and buried shortly after – so, how could she be alive? As DOOL fans know, anything is possible in Salem, or any daytime drama for that matter!
If Will Horton (Chandler Massey) can return from the dead after being killed by the Necktie Killer, a.k.a. Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson), then Abigail could come back from this, too.
DOOL Spoilers: Abigail’s Return To Complicate Things
There seems something romantic brewing between Chad and Cat. While she left for Vancouver with siblings Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) and Felicity Greene (Kennedy Garcia) to see their mom, Catharina Meleounis Greene (Susan Elana Matus), it seems likely that the Greene family will return to Salem and dive back into storylines in 2025.
After all, AnnaLynne McCord signed a one-year contract with Days, which is up at the end of this month, and due to DOOL’s filming schedule, fans will probably continue to see spring/summer at the very least.
This leaves open a door for Cat and Chad to fall in love, and it would be far more complicated for Abigail to return and find out that her husband has started a new life with a woman who paraded around as her for months only to be revealed as a liar.
Still, there’s a slew of major character returns in 2025, already in the works, including Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) as well as Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Williams Brady (Kristian Alfonso), so it’s hard to say if the show is planning on bringing Abby back at this point in time.
