The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Shick Reunion Coming? Executive Producer Josh Griffith Offers Clues
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that all heck has broken loose in the land of Genoa City. Not only has Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) confessed to Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) murder, but it also turns out that Ian Ward (Ray Wise) has returned, along with Jordan (Colleen Zenk), and the two are the ones really behind the woman’s demise – all in an effort to target the Newman family and Sharon.
The soap’s executive producer, Josh Griffith, recently talked to Soap Opera Digest (SOD) not only offering some interesting tidbits about this storyline but also hinting about a Shick reunion.
Y&R Spoilers: Nick Newman’s Support & Suspicions
Y&R spoilers indicate that while Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) sat in horror as Sharon confessed during the Friday, November 15 show, he is supporting his ex and is suspicious about her story.
Nick can’t seem to fathom that Sharon would do something like this, and he believes something is off.
Griffith told SOD, “I think that he (Nick) knows that something is off with her; he knows something is wrong.”
He adds, “But in his gut, he can sense — because of their history and their connection — that it’s not of her doing. [He senses that] there’s something, there’s an outside force, because there’s no way — even in her darkest periods of psychological trauma — does he believe that she would go to this place.”
Y&R Spoilers: Josh Griffith Teases Shick Reunion
Griffith goes on to tell SOD, “Nick’s suspicion is the right suspicion. He’s the only one who really has the true, right instinct as to what’s going on, because their connection is that strong.” When SOD questions if that “strong” Shick connection is because of their history or a potential romantic reunion, Griffith teases that “it could be” all of the above.
It’s no secret that Sharon still has lingering feelings for Nick. Hallucinations and the dream she had in January of this year hint that she is still very much in love with him. Considering Nick’s recent actions, it’s hard not to think that he is too.

Nick belongs with Phyllis not Sharon. There are several men that she can choose from. Take Ian and the aunt off the show!!
Phyllis is a horrible person. She took advantage of Nick years go after Cassie died, she did not know who Summer’s dad was, she also married jack and had an affair with Billy at the same time. She slept with Nick
knowing he was remarrying Sharon night before the wedding. Phyllis has been around a very long time, and she is good for no one. Nick should be with Sharon, never with Phyllis ever again.
I’ve been waiting for this reunion for years! It would make this terrible storyline completely worth it if they end up together in the end. It’s time for them to be together have their children and their grandchildren and be a family. I’m here for that all the way.

[…] Kyle could get lost in the emotions as well because there is no denying that these two still have feelings for each other. […]
[…] Claire has rationalized Kyle’s peace treaty with Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) as suitable for Harrison. While that’s true, viewers saw Kyle and Summer touching hands when Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) recently entered Crimson Lights. […]
