Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) reveal to Ridge was necessary. She couldn’t hide the coup attempt she learned about or protect her daughter’s new relationship secret, with both information relays foreshadowing massive conflict.

A short week of shows means a major cliffhanger is projected the day before Thanksgiving in the United States. So, the Wednesday show should be highly compelling.
Carter’s anger is steeped in his belief that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is making decisions that aren’t in FC’s best interest. He believes she’s using her grudge against Hope to damage the prospects of the family business, and that’s where Carter is short-sighted.
Eric Forrester (John McCook) is the co-founder and defacto Chairman Emeritus, who has certainly not retired. Stepping back due to some health issues in recent years meant turning the reigns over to his son and granddaughter. While Carter is valued and has earned a board seat in recent years, his last name isn’t Forrester. Hope’s last name isn’t Forrester, either.

It feels like Carter and Hope’s efforts to run FC will either be immediately stopped or derailed through legal action. Carter is the company’s chief legal counsel. So, that creates a sticky scenario where an outside attorney would need to be hired.
Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) owes Ridge. As viewers recall, Kaye’s character didn’t file charges after Justin held Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) hostage in the recent past.
Spear’s character was revealed to have patched up his differences with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) during the period in the plot when Tom Starr (Clint Howard) was killed. So, that factor is part of the calculation if Ridge uses Justin’s services to reverse Carter’s takeover attempt.

Hope for the Future has to be FC’s intellectual property, or at least that’s the argument that will be made if Hope attempts to take her brand elsewhere. It’s reasonable to wonder if Carter’s dashed expansion plans will reemerge if this emerging couple decides to create their own business.
Steffy fired Hope and will not rehire her. Carter appears on the verge of also being given a pink slip. Assuming that happens, he and Hope will be motivated to go it alone and potentially start what could be a rival business in Los Angeles, California.
