For reasons that can only be explained as soap, Saint-Victor’s character has not only been unable to find true love; he’s also had a hard time finding a female companion for an extended relationship. As was true with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), there are more realistic scenarios.
But viewers are suspending disbelief to see how far Hope will lead, or as he believes, inspire Carter.

Steffy knows what she saw in the design room. She also knows what her husband told her about that night at her grandfather’s house earlier this year.
Hope falling onto Finn while dressed in lingerie was just too much for Steffy to accept following her purposeful kiss at Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) mansion. If the kiss hadn’t happened, Steffy might have been able to buy Hope’s half-hearted explanation of her behavior.
Viewers also know that Steffy’s years-long triangle with Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is the true table-setter. That’s why she doesn’t trust Hope and never truly will. And who can blame her?
Plus, Hope is withholding why she was dressed in lingerie. This plot element could be more vital because her protection of Carter’s claim doesn’t match their go-Bold motto.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Carter Walton Purposely Deceives Family, Mentor, And Friends?
Carter knows that he will be perpetrating fraud. Putting his name as the official head of FC is a knowing act of betrayal.
To accomplish the ruse, Carter must also deceive Ridge and Steffy by having them sign the Legally Licensed Corporation documents without showing them that he is listed as its head.
They didn’t ask him to become the head of FC and would never approve it based on his current proclamations about the now-defunct HFTF part of the company.
Ridge or Steffy will either catch this plan before it’s completed, or both will respond with ferocity after it happens. Carter is speeding toward the wreck of his reputation and losing his career at FC. Beyond all that, he could also be sued if Ridge and Steffy get that mad.
