General Hospital Spoilers: After Soapy Beatdown, Steve Burton Says “Poor Cameron”
General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Steve Burton is talking about his character Jason Morgan’s beatdown of one of the soap’s most loathed characters at the moment.
Jason is used to doling out the fist sandwiches as the mob enforcer for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). But this time around it was all his decision to teach Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) a lesson.
Drew and Jason are brothers but that didn’t stop Jason from defending the honor of their nephew Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). You’ve seen the bloody scenes between the bros, now hear what Burton has to say about filming the fight–here’s what to know!
General Hospital spoilers: Jason Defends Honor
When Jason learned that Drew slept with Michael’s wife, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), his eyes went stone cold. Burton talked to castmate Bradford Anderson, who plays Damian Spinelli, about the fisticuffs on their podcast Daily Drama.
Anderson said that fans have been asking about two things: the death of Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Drew and Jason’s fight.
GH spoilers: Jason Beat Down Drew
Burton responded “Yes…this is what everybody has been loving. Poor Cameron” to which Anderson said “Yes, poor Cameron.” According to Burton fans have “thanked me” and Anderson laughed and said he’s been told they want Jason to “Do it again.”
In case you missed the pivotal scene, it all went down at the Quartermaine mansion which is starting to resemble a boarding house.

As soon as Drew and Nina (Cynthia Watros) walked through the door, Jason started wailing on him and although Drew fought back, Jason got the best of him. Both actors displayed some incredible stunt work and now fans are wondering if history will repeat itself.
Right now there is a détente in place owing to the death of Sam. Both men fathered kids with her and they were sat down and lectured by Sam’s grieving mom, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) about making peace for the sake of their kids.

Both men begrudgingly agreed to be civil but we predict this peace won’t last. How can it, with Jason a tempest in a teapot and Drew a smarmy two-timer? Drew is sleeping with both Willow and Nina, and this alone has fans spewing the haterade all over Drew.
