The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will recruit Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) in a revenge plot. Victor might think Adam’s a shoe-in to get revenge on Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) but Adam’s changed-will he refuse?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: What Happened To Delia Abbott Was Long, Long Ago

The feud between Billy and Adam started with Delia Abbott’s (Sophie Pollono) fatal accident long, long ago-Billy shouldn’t have left Delia with her dog in the car to begin with.

Adam thought he hit a dog but when he got out, he saw the dog running around at the side of the road-but not Delia, who was deceased behind a bush. It wasn’t until later that Adam noticed damage on his car-and when he found out she was dead, he did delay until Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) got her corneas.

Much later, Billy came after Adam, and actually ran him off a cliff in his car-it was that point Adam went to Las Vegas, and became known as “Spyder”. Perhaps he only claimed to have amnesia to enable him to stay hidden, but he’s never admitted it.

Y & R Spoilers: Adam Has Changed For The Better

Even though Adam still has a manipulative side, he has changed for the better and doesn’t hate himself as much as he did. He’s feeling much more a part of the Newman family and feels much more accepted-he’s even over the sibling rivalry with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) over Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).

It seems like both Nick and Adam have moved on from Sally, with Nick more involved with Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) troubles-Adam out of the loop on the most. But then, Adam’s just been dumped by Sally for cheating with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) both of them more involved with Connor’s problems. Adam still may not want to get in a revenge plot against anyone, whether it’s against Billy or whoever!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Would Victor Really Blackmail Adam With Fresh Rejection If He Doesn’t Bite?

Victor is known for being ruthless, but would he really blackmail Adam with fresh rejection for not helping him with his revenge plot against Billy? Most of Adam’s problems with self-image have come from wanting to be accepted by Victor, but maybe Adam’s eyes have been opened.

Remembering back a few years, Victor notably faked his own death with Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) help when Nate was still a doctor-just to punish Adam with a guilt trip!

Adam may remember and think to himself-that’s a man who claims to love his family, and he’s called Adam manipulative? He might turn Victor down flat and leave him to clean up his own mess he’ll be left with after this manipulative stunt!
