The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease the 13,000th episode celebration is in the near future. But one of the most monumental tasks seemed to be how to say that number!
The Young and the Restless is going all out for its monumental 13,000th episode celebration, and includes the unexpected return of Victor and Nikki’s Newman’s (Eric Braeden, Melody Thomas Scott) home.
It’s been restored to its former glory before the notorious fire set by Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Lauralee Bell (Christine) took the opportunity to challenge her fellow cast members in a fun video segment!
The outcome was nothing short of hilarious. While Bell framed it as a practice session for the Young & Restless team, there were moments that felt more like a rigorous boot camp for the 13,000th milestone!
For example, when Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman) and Conner Floyd (Chance Chancellor) teamed up to tackle an incredible 13,000 pushups together, they really nailed it! Kudos to you both-we won’t even ask for footage of the first 12,999 pushups.
Then there’s Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings), who wowed us with his astounding 13,000 kettlebell reps on the stairs.
It’s funny how we also seem to have missed the first 12,999 reps… but we’re sure they were flawless! Ultimately, after witnessing all the impressive feats, the winner might be Christian Jules LeBlanc (Michael Baldwin) since his approach of simply getting exasperated and exclaiming, “Thirteen K!” seemed to be the best!
Our heartfelt gratitude extends to you, Lauralee Bell, for this exquisite indulgence, this episode will be the tops! While we could certainly embark on mastering that intricate tongue twister ourselves, perhaps we should consider taking a cue from Braeden, who deemed it “ruthless” and chose to gracefully bypass it.
Of course, in the name of a far worthier cause: expressing their appreciation to the fans, with whom that many episodes would have never been possible.
As the montage came to a close, we found ourselves back with him and the illustrious Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) and Victor’s esteemed portrayal commenced with a proclamation. “And you know undeniably that we could not have achieved this remarkable milestone without —” to which Stafford seamlessly interjected, “You all!”
