The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Mark Grossman Talks The One Storyline He’d Love To See Adam In

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers indicate that while Adam Newman is currently working at Newman Enterprises as the CEO of Newman Media, his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is working his last good nerve.

When The Moustache gave him the job, Adam insisted that he wouldn’t throw his friend, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) under the bus. As Victor continues to insist his son follows his revenge plan, Adam’s patience is growing thin.

Actor Mark Grossman recently caught up with Soaps.com and revealed a storyline he’d love to see his character in.

Y&R Spoilers: Adam Newman Wants To Live Up To His Name

Y&R spoilers suggest that Adam had no problem throwing Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) under the bus by writing a terrible article about the head of Abbott-Chancellor.

The piece pointed out the multiple employees that had left the company and the fallout of that recent tech deal.

Still, while Adam followed instructions about the Billy Abbott article, he continues to clash with his dad about other things, namely, Jack Abbott.

Mark tells Soaps.com the reason Adam and Victor fight so much is that underneath it all, “Victor Newman Jr.” wants to live up to his name.

Y&R Spoilers: Sticking The Proverbial Finger At His Family

Still, as much as Mark understands Adam’s need to prove himself to his father, he wishes for a storyline that would stick it to the Moustache and the rest of the Newmans.

After all, no matter how much Adam tries to prove himself to his family, he still ends up being the ‘black sheep’.

Grossman states that he would love to do a storyline where Adam starts his own business. He adds it would be like a ‘middle finger’ to the family. Mark also notes that he loves it when Jack and Adam work together and how this ‘triggers’ Victor.

Mark reveals with a laugh that he loves it when Adam can “stick it to Victor”; however, he also states he enjoys working with Peter Bergman, who, “ … brings out the best of everyone he works with.”
