Nate Hastings Jr. (Sean Dominic) was busy unraveling a puzzling text from Amy Lewis (Valarie Pettiford), his father, Nate Hastings Sr.’s (Adam Lazarre-White) former girlfriend. Amy insists that they must meet regarding an “urgent family matter,” but Nate, naturally, has no clue who she is!

Elena became a more elusive figure following Nate’s betrayal with his former boss, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
In March 2023, she was gearing up to launch a medical podcast, and Audra proposed that she interview JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) to discuss the impact of his brain tumor on his life. Audra wanted Hellstrom back in town to terrorize Victoria, since the marriage was abusive-later found to be caused by the tumor.
Elena’s sudden absence from Genoa City was never explained. Since that time, Elena has not made any appearances on the show.

Sarpy made her debut on “Y&R” in March 2019 when the show reintroduced Ana Hamilton (Loren Lott), as the sister of Devon Hamilton. It was revealed that Elena is Ana’s cousin and serves as the caretaker for her uncle, the singer Jett Slade, (Gilbert Glenn Brown), who is also Ana’s father.
At that time, Elena had left her medical residency due to conflicts with the chief resident-troughout her journey, Elena experienced significant romantic entanglements, particularly with her cousins Devon and Nate.
Both relationships were marked by infidelity, intensifying the rivalry between the two men, which ultimately led Nate to abandon his medical aspirations in favor of a career in business.
