Audra is not on a mission for Victor, as she was when forcing Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) to relinquish Glissade. Instead, she’s seeking revenge in hopes of regaining her place in the company Kyle now technically heads.

So, he recognizes her going to Jack as part of Victor’s likely desire for him to know. Audra might be useful for Jack or not, but he’s been alerted to the Dark Knight’s coming for Jabot.

Jack warned Victor months ago. He told the head of the Newman family to leave his clan alone.

Victor laughed off Jack’s warning.

Victor is moving various pieces into position. He already has Glissade and intends to take control of Chancellor soon.

Having Kyle in place is a powerful emotional tool. Many executives, such as Audra, would have jumped at the chance to lead Glissade. But luring him there and now making him the company’s public face after stealing one of Jabot’s formulas is a strike at Jack.

Retaliation needs to be exact because, make no mistake, if Victor can take Jabot down or take it over, he will.

Diane and Jack repeatedly tell Kyle they love him and can get past his betrayal. But he wants to avoid hearing what his parents are saying.

Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) recently met with Jack. That gives Kyle a chance to save himself eventually. But he currently wants to help Victor destroy Diane, Jack, and Jabot.

She cares about Mealor’s character and is trying to prevent him from creating damage that can’t be fixed. Jack told his son that violating John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) principles is unforgivable. But this is daytime, and Kyle is an Abbott. So, there is hope for a turnaround in Genoa City, Wisconsin.
