‘I Am Jazz’ Jazz Jennings Celebrates A Birthday How Old Is She?

I Am Jazz fans met Jazz Jennings on TLC in 2015, and she came out as trans long before the likes of Leon Brown from Sister Wives. In fact, fans have watched her journey eight times in nearly a decade, so it might surprise some people how old she is. This week she celebrated a birthday and her family gave her a shoutout. 

Jazz Jennings Became A Famous Face For LGBTQ+

When TLC brought in the new show, it was Counting On alum, Derick Dillard who spoke out against her. Actually, rumors arrived that he was fired by TLC for disparaging remarks. These days, he gained back some respectability because he stood up for Jill Duggar and put himself through school. But fans of Jazz have long memories. 

Jazz Jennings is very fortunate to have an extremely supportive family. Her dad, Greg, and her mom, Jeanette stood by her ever since she decided she was a girl at the age of six. Plus, she has two brothers and a sister who support her. This weekend, her parents gave the TLC star a shout-out for her birthday. 

I Am Jazz Star Celebrates A Birthday

Gerg posted a sweet photo of himself with his young child, and so did her mom, Jeanette. In her post on Sunday, the TLC mom said some very sweet things to her daughter who opted to come out so young and fight for LGBTQ+ rights. 

In her very long caption, her TLC mom told Jazz Jennings how proud she is of her. If you don’t know, she just turned 24 years old. Additionally, she also praised her for her “resilience in the face of countless challenges.” Plus, she seemed so inspired by the child, that she added:

By staying true to yourself and embracing your journey with such openness, you’ve touched not only my heart but the hearts of countless others. I’ve learned so much from you about the power of unconditional love and pure acceptance. No matter where life takes you, I’ll always be by your side, cheering you on.
