General Hospital’s Colin Cassidy Talks “Nerves” While Working With Soap Legend, Jonathan Jackson
General Hospital (GH) spoilers note that young actor Colin Cassidy made his soapy debut last week, jumping into the shoes of Aiden Spencer.
During the Monday, October 7 show, Aiden had a pivotal reunion scene with his dad, Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) where the father and son caught up.
Aiden was comfortable enough to come out to his father, who gently reminded him that no matter what, he would always love and accept him.
Cassidy recently caught up with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) to talk about working with Jackson and how his experience on GH has been so far.

GH spoilers reveal Monday’s scene between Lucky and Aiden was an emotional one. When SOD asked Cassidy how the first scenes with Jackson went, he notes that his onscreen dad is “incredible”.
He tells the online soap mag that it was the second day of filming for him, and having Jackson there to guide him through such a “heavy scene” was imperative as he didn’t know how he would do had he not had a professional like Jonathan by his side.
Cassidy adds that Jackson made sure the two put extra time aside into the scene before filming and the two talked about it and worked through it. The proof was in the pudding, as GH viewers will completely blown away by the moment between the estranged father and son.

SOD asked Cassidy if he was nervous before filming the scenes with Jackson, and the young actor notes that there’s always nerves – stating that he doesn’t know if that will ever go away.
Cassidy also adds that he felt a lot of excitement ahead of shooting the scenes, too.
The young actor reveals to SOD that he’s grateful to be on the soap and get such “deep emotional scenes”. He states that “it’s amazing”.
