General Hospital Spoilers: The Investigation Into Sonny Becomes a Sore Spot for Chase and Brook Lynn

General Hospital spoilers reveal Sonny Corithos (Maurice Benard) is guilty of killing FBI Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington), and more people know it than want to admit they do.

While the likes of Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliott) and Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) have had no trouble calling Sonny out for his crimes, the members of their family who love him feel quite differently about it.

For Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), he’s just her “Uncle Sonny.” She doesn’t want to see him go to prison, and to add insult to injury, it may hurt her business ventures now if she did.

Speaking of business though, Brook Lynn’s hubby — Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) — is working every angle to catch Sonny. They may not see eye to eyGH-e on this one.

General Hospital Spoilers — Chase Hammers Down

Chase is adamant that Carly and Sonny knew exactly what they were doing when they plotted to manufacture an alibi for him at the time of Agent Cates’ murder. The question that will come into play now is whether it was Carly or Sonny who actually killed him.

Police Commissioner Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) money is on Sonny, as is Chase’s. After all, he had the most motive, and it makes sense that Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) would hesitate to roll over on Sonny versus Carly when trying to spare her mother from going down for a crime she didn’t commit.

But seeing Chase go hard after Sonny isn’t going to sit well with his wifey, who loves the mob boss very much.

GH Spoilers Hint Brook Lynn is Taken Aback

Brook Lynn understands her husband has no choice but to do his job, but it might rub her the wrong way how much he appears to relish the opportunity to be the detective who finally takes Sonny down.

The renowned mobster has escaped accountability more times than any of them can count, and Brook Lynn isn’t blind to that.

But she adores him. As much as she doesn’t want her feelings for Sonny to come in between her and her new husband, she’ll have a hard time tolerating how swiftly and brutally Chase proceeds in chasing down every lead to get Sonny into lock-up.

General Hospital Spoilers — Stress Mounts at the Q Mansion

Brook Lynn and Chase are already under a ridiculous amount of stress as they navigate being guardians of Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) while Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) is off getting better in rehab.

To add even more jitters to their plate, they’ve been trying to get pregnant. If their disagreement over Sonny leads to the two of them being at odds, it could complicate both their current “parenting” situation and any future one — especially if Brook Lynn soon finds herself already pregnant.
