General Hospital Spoilers: Scout’s Final Goodbye With Doomed Mother Sam

General Hospital spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) received life-changing news last week from Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James).

The search has been intense for a liver donor for Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havans). None of Lulu’s siblings turned out to be a match, so Lulu’s only hope was for a volunteer to be tested and found a suitable choice.

After an exhaustive search, the answer came closer to home than anyone ever imagined. Sam turned out to be the person who was going to hopefully save Lulu’s life.

General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall will be Lulu Spencer’s donor

Sam didn’t hesitate and agreed to become Lulu’s donor almost immediately. As soon as all the final tests were run, Sam announced to her family that she was going to be admitted to General Hospital soon so she could have a portion of her liver removed.

Danny Morgan was proud of his mom right from the start, but Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante) was much more concerned about the risks that Sam would be facing. Sam and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) did their best to reassure Scout, who seemed satisfied when she learned that the donated portion of Sam’s liver would eventually grow back.

GH Spoilers – Transplant surgeries are dangerous

Meanwhile, Dr. Isaiah Gannon (Sawindi Wilson) has made it clear that the transplant process won’t be easy for either the donor or the recipient.

The surgery has plenty of risks and unfortunately, it seems that things won’t go well for Sam in the end. As viewers know, Sam is fated to die in the coming days, and it seems most likely at this point that there will be some sort of complication for Sam that will cost her life.

Its unclear at the moment exactly what the circumstances of Sam’s death will be.

But before tragedy strikes, look for some close bonding moments between Sam and Scout. This gives Scout one final opportunity to make some memories that will sadly be her last ones of Sam.

Sam and Scout will cuddle up in Sam’s hospital room while Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) looks on. Alexis and Sam will also likely have some close moments leading up to the surgery.

Alexis and Sam haven’t always had a close relationship as mother and daughter, but they’ve more than made up for it in recent years. Sam’s death will devastate both her mother as well as her daughter. One thing is for certain, it’s going to be a difficult time.
