The Bold and The Beautiful’s Tanner Novlan will star in a new holiday movie. It will premiere on the Hallmark Channel on Friday, November 28 at 8:00 pm Eastern/7:00 PM central time.
Even those who don’t watch soap operas may recognize Tanner Novlan as the “Liberty Biberty” man on Liberty Insurance commercials. Bold and Beautiful fans will recognize him as Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan, the handsome doctor husband of Steffy Forrester, played by Jacqueline MacInnes Wood.
This will mark Tanner’s first role in a Hallmark Channel production, however, where he’ll play a caretaker of a manor, named Austin.
He’ll be a leading man in this movie which is one of a few Christmas movies he’s played in over the years, according to his IMDB listing. In 2022 he played Devin Ryan in “Christmas Class Reunion” and in 2019, Grant Hines in “My Best Friend’s Christmas”.
Fans can anticipate seeing Novlan share the screen with Rachel Boston, Pascal Lamothe-Kipnes, Matthew James Dowden, and Max Lloyd-Jones.
The story revolves around three adult siblings (Lamothe-Kipnes, Dowden, Lloyd-Jones) who return to their childhood home during the Christmas season to fulfill their late grandmother’s wishes.
They also navigate the complexities of selecting new leadership for the family business; enter Annie Merkel (Boston), affectionately known as Mrs. Miracle, who steps in as an estate planner.
With her unique touch of Christmas magic, she guides the family toward reconciliation and strengthens their connections. Amidst the siblings’ efforts to resolve their differences, Charlotte (Lamothe-Kipnes) finds herself rekindling a romance with Austin (Novlan), the manor’s caretaker and her first love.
Debbie Macomber’s “Joyful Mrs. Miracle” is featured in the Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas, a holiday tradition for many.
For 15 years, fans of feel-good holiday films have been warming up their cocoa and snuggling on their sofas, eagerly tuning into Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas for their festive movie fix.
This beloved event kicks off its round-the-clock programming on Friday, October 18, delighting viewers with 40 brand-new, original films across both Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Mystery.
Additionally, Hallmark+—the newly launched and revamped streaming service—joins the celebration by offering seven original holiday movies. And, for the first time, four seasonal series that are bound to spread joy and cheer as well.
