The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) personal issues have momentarily plateaued.
Hope’s proactive move to tell John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) that they should not be together helps.
Steffy is making herself very clear. She can separate business and personal issues.
But there is a condition, and Hope knows she must abide by it. Steffy warned Hope to stay away from Finn, saying that Hope for the Future would be over if she did not. Hope got the message and agreed to comply, at least for now.
Meanwhile, Taylor Hayes’ (Rebecca Budig) return to Los Angeles, California, dramatically impacts Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) life. While not married to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), he is with her, not Taylor.

One of the hallmarks of this soap opera is the enduring battle between the Forrester and Logan families. Viewers knew that was back on the instant Hope began flirting with Finn.
It was hard to tell if the parental connection Noelle and Novlan’s characters share would lead to a bond. Finn was interested in nothing more than friendship.
Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) exit threw Hope for a strong loop. But his recent return hit even harder emotionally. That was a significant factor in her making a play for Finn.

No one has been harder on Hope than Brooke in recent months. She implored her daughter to recognize the danger of allowing thoughts of Finn to persist.
But Hope proved incapable of stopping herself. After Wood’s character openly stated that Hope could do nothing to her, she wanted to prove to Steffy that she could damage her.
Brooke repeatedly reminded Hope not to attempt to create a second triangle. The infamous one involving Hope, Liam, and Steffy was a major part of this show for years.
It did feel plausible that a revised triangle, including Finn, could develop, but that may still happen down the daytime road.

Ridge is committed to Brooke but will respect Taylor’s return and Steffy’s right about Hope.
Kaye’s character knows that Brooke and Taylor’s rivalry is based on him and won’t ever truly disappear. However, he’s massaged his connection to both women, with all his children and grandchildren involved.
For their part, Brooke and Taylor have forged a general truce. The audience knows the friendship they surprisingly created during Krista Allen’s (Taylor) run is not in the current cards. So, Ridge will deal with pressure from his two greatest loves and be part of the continued consequences.
