Little People, Big World, might never return to TLC, but Matt Roloff keeps his fans up-to-date with his life, and this week, he revealed that he had a “very sh**ty day.” Read on to find out why, and see the photos.

LPBW Matt Roloff Still Farms, Pumpkin Season Looms

Season 25 seems to have marked the finale of the LPBW show on TLC. When contracts ended, the patriarch welcomed the idea of no more reality TV. It’s been a long haul, and he’s not getting any younger. Meanwhile, Little People, Big World fans were conflicted over Zach Roloff and Jeremy not getting their chance to continue farming on Roloff Farms.

Matt Roloff heads for his busy season right now and harvesting begins ahead of the annual Pumpkin Season agritainment event that starts in early October again this year. Day-to-day life on a farm isn’t always just about sitting around in a nice house watching workers toil, and Matt has always been known to get his hands dirty and hands-on. And this week, he had a smelly and “sh**ty” job to do.

LPBW Alum Reveals His ‘Very Sh**ty Day’

A few days ago, the TLC alum took to his Instagram and shared a reel. In it, he sat in his mule and pointed out that he was on a nearby dairy farm. His footage also revealed a giant mountain of cow “poop.” The LPBW patriarch explained that the loaders were there and the “dump trucks” to transport tons of the stuff to his own farm for fertilizing the pumpkin fields.

Matt Roloff told his Little People, Big World fans that he stank of “manure,” but fortunately, he loves the smell of it. He didn’t explain why the farmers in Oregon have so much of the stinky stuff. For example, in New Zealand, they prefer a pump and slurry system that sprays the liquid manure back on the pastures. Maybe they do, and the manure came from cows doing their business in the fields. Whatever, TLC fans learned a thing or two about fertilizing pumpkins.

TLC Fans React In The Comments

Matt had captioned his post with, “A very sh**ty day.” But Little People, Big World fans still loved the post and they chatted about it in the comments. Here are some of their reactions:

  • Matt is the man. He never let his size or disability affect his dream of building the farm. You can learn a lot from him and people trying to dirty his name because of him finding happiness after Amy…
  • Smells like money is what my grandfather used to say! Lol.
  • Matt, I grew up by a Dairy. ALWAYS loved the smell of cow poop. People think I’m crazy, but every time we’re out cruising around and pass a cow pasture, I roll the windows down!
  • I’m relieved that it’s a manure kind of day…I thought you were having a totally lousy day!! Ha-ha!!!
  • Boy I wish I could get my hands on some manure. It’s that time of year for sure. Happy autumn everyone.

What are your thoughts on Matt Roloff getting real about his “sh**ty day” on the farm? Do you admire that he achieved so much apart from being on the TLC show? Shout out in the comments below, and remember to come back here often for all your Little People, Big World updates, news, and spoilers.

Yes we do prefer putting slurry ( or liquid cow poo ) back into the paddock due to this natural by product being an awesome fertiliser, lowering costs and improved soil!
