‘Counting On’ Alums Jinger Duggar & Jeremy Vuolo Talk First Year Of Marriage

Counting On alums Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo held their 10th episode of their podcast on Thursday, and they chatted about how they survived their first year of marriage. The couple has been working out some issues with their podcast, and now, it seems to be working better many TLC fans enjoyed what they had to say.

Jinger Duggar & Jeremy have Been Married For 8 years

These days, the Counting On couple raise their two children, Evie and Felicity. She’s an accomplished author, and he’s doing well with his career choice as a pastor, although he might still be working on his graduate studies. At one stage, he seemed very popular with the youth and went on summer camps. 

Jinger Duggar and her husband changed their lives when they left Laredo, Texas, and moved to Los Angeles. Many Counting On critics believed they would never cope there. And, there were rumors of difficulty in their marriage. However, the former TLC stars seem to be flourishing in California after nearly eight years of marriage.  

Jeremy Vuolo, Jinger & The First Year Of Marriage

Jeremy introduced the discussion about the Counting On couple being married for the first year. In the introduction, the synopsis said: “We were told that the first year of marriage will be the hardest and…if you can survive it you can survive the rest. Was that true? We had different takes on it. “

Jinger Duggar and Jeremy started off married life in a tiny apartment in Texas, and they believed that they were very happy there. In fact, making friends, and meeting new people in the community seemed very precious to both of the TLC stars. And, even though the place was small, Jinger loved to cook and entertain. Mostly, their first year seemed full of fun and friends. So, they managed to survive that first year that so many people dread. Notably, though, they didn’t have any children, so they had a lot more time than they do now.

• My husband and I have been married over 55 years and our first year was absolute bliss. I have wonderful memories of that year. We didn’t have an argument for 12 years. We still love each other madly and we are now quite elderly. We never understand why people say the first year is so hard!
• Hearing your experiences as a happily married couple makes it so easy, pleasant and enjoyable to watch and hear all your experiences in eight years of marriage!
• You guys are such an amazing couple! I’m one of those who watched Jinger grow up on TV, and as you shared your 1st year of marriage I was remembering your courting stage and then the [rainy] night you got engaged.
