General Hospital spoilers suggest Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) are hardly looking forward to having to pretend they’re a couple again.
Not only did Carly express concern for what their charade could do to their daughter, Donna Corinthos (Scarlett Spears), but in the back of her mind, she’s concerned it might prevent her from ever learning what could happen between her and WSB Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure).
Will Jack be okay with Carly drifting back to her ex? Maybe, but not everyone is going to take it in stride.
A few people are bound to push back on his faux narrative, but will any of them be able to crack its foundation and force the truth to come out?
General Hospital Spoilers — Natalia Doesn’t Like Being Told No
Natalia Ramirez (Eva LaRue) may have been taken aback by Sonny’s preference for pushing her out the door and sitting down with Carly just because his ex-wife showed up demanding his attention.
Is that how it works with this guy? As Natalia learns the ins and outs of Sonny and Carly’s relationship, she may be inclined to dig her claws into him even more out of fear she could lose him to Carly.
Sure, they aren’t keen on spending time with each other right now, but we know that’s bound to change. They’ll fake it ‘til they make it, right? Natalia may have other plans in mind.
GH Spoilers Say Marty Won’t Buy It
Martin ‘Marty’ Grey (Michael E. Knight) certainly doesn’t buy the alibi Carly and Sonny have constructed. Getting down and dirty in Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliott) bed is a stretch even for these two.
Asking others to believe that they drifted back together at that moment and couldn’t wait to be alone or in either of their own homes is a bit much.
Moreover, Marty suspects that the only reason Sonny sought his help for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is because he knows she didn’t kill FBI Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) — because he did. But to prove it, he’ll need to find a way to break down their story, and it won’t be easy.
General Hospital Spoilers — Jack Has a Good Poker Face
Jack is definitely interested in seeing where this flirtation with Carly can lead, and he may be quick to catch on that her alibi for Sonny isn’t quite as rock solid as she wants it to be.
That being said, while he is a federal agent, he’s not out to get Carly thrown in prison. But he may be a voice in her ear that encourages her to roll over on her ex, and he also might be the catalyst for the whole charade being blown apart if she can’t keep her flirty remarks and hands to herself when she’s with him.
