General Hospital Spoilers: Martin Works To Prove Carly And Sonny Are Lying
General Hospital spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Bernard) may regret hiring Martin Grey (Michael E Knight) as Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) defense attorney.
Alexis has been arrested and is awaiting trial for the murder of FBI Agent John Cates (Adam Harrington), a crime that Sonny actually committed.
Sonny doesn’t want Alexis to suffer for something he did, but he also doesn’t want to incriminate himself. That’s why he told Martin to do whatever it takes to get Alexis out of this mess.
General Hospital Spoilers – Martin Grey met with Alexis Davis
Martin met with Alexis, who told him that she is protecting her daughter Kristina Davis-Corinthos (Kate Mansi) from becoming a person of interest in Cates’ murder. Alexis doesn’t believe that Kristina killed Cates, but she isn’t sure Kristina can prove that in a court of law.
So, Martin basically told her that the best way to get her off the hook is to prove that Sonny himself is the killer. That’s a very risky gambit for Martin to take since Sonny is actually the one paying for his services.
GH Spoilers – Sonny Corinthos has an alibi!
As viewers know, Sonny killed Cates but was soon discovered by Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell). Michael stayed behind to clean up the crime scene while Sonny sought out Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Carly provided an alibi for Sonny by lying that they were making love at the time of the murder. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has informed both Sonny and Carly that if they want the authorities to buy their story, they have to pretend they have reconciled.
General Hospital Spoilers – Martin Grey will need to prove Carly Spencer is lying!
Martin’s first step to prove Sonny killed Cates will have to be to poke holes in Sonny’s alibi. That means he will have to prove that Carly is lying.
Since Carly and Sonny are pretending to be a couple once more, Martin will be forced to prove that it’s all for show. Look for him to do whatever it takes to prove that Carly and Sonny are not back together.
If Martin can prove that Sonny and Carly aren’t together, it may be the best way to take suspicion off of Alexis and back to Sonny.
What do you think?
Should Sonny confess to Cates’ murder? Can Martin prove that Carly is lying about being Sonny’s alibi? Could Sonny and Carly fall back in love for real?
