General Hospital Spoilers: It’s a Rocky Road Ahead for Brook Lynn and Chase as Fertility Struggles Set in

General Hospital spoilers reveal Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) are ready to have a baby.

And so, they assume they’ll soon find themselves pregnant with some trying in earnest. What they’re failing to consider is that a child won’t come easily to them, and that could leave Brook Lynn feeling rather obsessed with baby fever more than she already thinks she is.

With rumors swirling that her first child with her hubby wouldn’t actually be her first, and that she gave a child up for adoption years ago, we have to wonder whether infertility struggles in her marriage could lead to Brook Lynn wanting to track down the only biological child she’ll likely ever have.

General Hospital Spoilers — Baby Fever is Real

Ever since Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) asked Brook Lynn and Chase when they would have a baby together, the new wifey hasn’t been able to stop thinking about it.

The upcoming experience of trying to conceive may pass more rapidly in soap land than it does for those of us living in the real world, but the excitement of the possible pregnancy each month might scratch this itch for Brook Lynn long enough to drag out a storyline for six months like GH prefers.

However, if it is eventually determined that Brook Lynn and Chase aren’t conceiving a baby because they can’t, it could turn her plans for the future upside down. Will this leave her wondering about the baby that got away?

GH Spoilers Ask Is It Gio?

Of course, the next logical assumption is that if Brook Lynn can’t shake the idea of tracking down the baby she gave up at birth many moons ago, then secrets may start to come out that could further pivot where she thought her life was going.

All of this time, she has presumably never known about where her child is or if they’re okay. But that doesn’t mean no one did. A strong theory is coming to light that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) arranged for the baby to be adopted by someone close to the family.

Could that have been Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) late mother? If Gio is Brook Lynn’s son, Lois and Sonny are going to have a lot of answering to do for their behavior.

Back to the point…if Brook Lynn and Chase can’t have a child, she may start to reconsider the path her life is on. Given that she had a child before, it’s unlikely that the fertility problem will lie with her, but it’s possible.

If that’s the case, she may feel that the child she gave up is her only shot at experiencing the mother-child relationship. However, if the fertility woes are on Chase’s end, it could end up changing the way she feels about their future without a biological family.
