General Hospital Spoilers: Carly Cozies Up to Jack While Jason is Away Playing Games with Anna — Who Falls for Who?

General Hospital Spoilers spill Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) doesn’t seem to be taking Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) warning to heart.

As heartfelt as it was for Carly to send him off to Africa on a mission to bring Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) home, she seems to be doing just fine keeping herself distracted from the worry of whether he’s okay.

Of course, she’s had some help with that. WSB Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure) continues to show up in her life, and Carly isn’t showing any signs of pushing him away.

Once again, she must think she can ignore Jason’s good intentions and good advice. If it blows up in her face, he’ll help her clean up the mess, right?

Maybe it’s that Australian charm. We know that the accent got Carly hook, line, and sinker when it came to Jasper Jax (Ingo Rademacher). But she just can’t seem to stay away from Jack.

Aside from nearly continually finding herself needing intel or favors from the federal agent she has only recently made nice with, she seems to genuinely enjoy his company. The last time she played nice with a federal agent — FBI

Agent John ‘Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington), she ended up on trial. Can this possibly end up any better? Don’t tell us it can get worse.

It could be slightly harder for Carly to take Jason’s concern seriously right now. Not only is her cousin’s life at the forefront of her mind, but Jason hasn’t exactly tried to keep the home fires burning with Carly since he came home. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is out of the way now.

Nothing should be preventing these two from getting together, but they’re not. So Carly doesn’t see the harm in getting her itch scratched someplace else.

General Hospital Spoilers — What’s Fair is Fair

At the same time that Jason doesn’t want to see Carly get wrapped up with Jack, she would hardly condone the way he’s been getting closer to Police Commissioner Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) — and we have to think the space between them is only going to narrow on this trip to Africa while they pretend to be a couple.

But will Jason actually fall for Anna, or will she just provide temporary relief from his desire to be with Carly? Is that all Jack is for Carly, too?
